Our client is a Local Council that delivers professional and high-quality service throughout the Northern Suburbs. They're one of the fastest-growing councils in Australia, and with all the new development, they're looking for support in their irrigation team.
Your new role
Working as an Irrigation Maintenance Officer, you will have a variety of duties and responsibilities. This will include, however not be limited to;
- Operate and Maintain pressurised Irrigation Systems
- Undertake Irrigation audits
- Ensure garden beds and turf irrigation on reserves and streetscapes are maintained to operate as they were designed
- Meter reading is undertaken on a monthly basis
- Sprinkler repairs
- Cleaning out filters regularly as per site requirements
- Assist with review of new development plans as required.
- Measure irrigation delivery system performance
- Assist with and recommending irrigation schedules.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this position, you must have prior experience in irrigation and/or maintenance. You will have exceptional time management abilities and be able to prioritise tasks effectively. A white card and WZTM licence are highly beneficial.
