The role
Responsible for the support and maintenance for the overall infrastructure and software of designated Transdev sites and depots including the delivery of project objectives. Maintains, installs and configures network, computer and telecommunication systems; diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical problems.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
- Provide face to face support and act as escalation from the service desk.
- Installing, configuring, monitoring, maintaining computer systems, networks and printers
- Support new applications.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and records
- Prioritise and manage several open cases at one time.
- Monitor network performance and availability.
- Manage, participate and assist in project deployments.
- Maintain service asset and configuration database.
- Manage procurement activities and relationships.
- Working closely with other departments/organizations and collaborating with other IT staff.
- Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with other professionals and suppliers to assist in operational issues.
- Providing exceptional customer service and always perform all duties with the company’s core beliefs and objectives in mind
Ideally you might have
- 5+ years experiencing working with Microsoft Windows
- 5+ years experiencing working with Microsoft Office
- 5+ years experiencing working with TCP/IP networking
- Experience with Server/Networking Hardware and software
- Experience with physical network infrastructure, patching and installation of network equipment.
- Good communication skills
- Analytical capabilities and creativity
