About the Team
We have a small IT team with large exposure across the business. Our company has a flat structure with an open plan office layout, meaning you will work closely alongside the entire team and other key staff gaining mentorship, knowledge, and experience.
About the Role
This role is principally responsible for providing first level technical support. Based at our Sydney Markets Head Office you will be a key member of our IT Team. The main responsibilities will include:
- Being the first point of contact for technical support for our users across the business
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile and smart devices
- Assist with the setup and allocation of equipment and user accounts, including packaging and shipping equipment to our various locations.
- Providing support on Office 365 and other software
- Work closely with vendors and team members to resolve complex issues and organise resources across different sites
- Continually increase understanding of the organisation’s business management system and program specifications
- Ensuring you maintain your knowledge of current technologies and trends
About You
This role will be best suited to a recent IT Graduate with a lot of initiative and eagerness to learn. In addition you should have:
- Tertiary qualification (or studying) in IT or related area
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good interpersonal and customer care skills
- Good understanding of current software and hardware technologies and trends, including cloud computing
- Strong organisation, analytical and prioritising skills
