This is an exciting opportunity for a Hands-On Technical Lead, who is looking to take the next step in their career with leading organisation who are an Australian success story as their IT Manager!
This newly created position, reporting to the CEO, will take on IT Management within the organisation. A "Hands-on" Technical Leadership role, this is your chance to have a meaningful impact as both a leader and influence in future proofing of IT systems and Infrastructure.  This organisation is all across AI, Automation and other industry game changers.
This organisation has a Microsoft environment, exceptional Vendor relationships and continued investment into IT.
This position forms part of the organisational Leadership team, will require Board level presentations and will benefit from a goal driven attitude and an ability to understand business issues and drivers.
This position encompasses leadership across the Infrastructure and Applications teams, and will have influence at a Board level.
 
ABOUT YOU
Our client is looking for someone with PASSION!
Ideally you may be currently a 2IC to a IT Manager, a Senior Systems Administrator and oversee responsibility of Systems, Network and Infrastructure and would like to be IT Manager, but have not been able to progress internally!
IF you are leading and mentoring, but are not getting the recognition or opportunity to act as a Leader, this is definitely a terrific next step.
Alternatively you may be an IT Manager, but not able to have meaningful impact, or the business is not investing in IT
Your technical acumen and leadership skills will come into play and you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the strategic IT initiates within the business.
 
Exceptional stakeholder management skills will be of utmost importance and the ability to lead and influence a cohesive team of Systems and Infrastructure professionals.
Currently the team comprises around 6 technical professionals across Systems and Infrastructure.
Leading this productive team by example and ability to roll your sleeves up is essential.
 
SPECIFIC SKILLS
A background working as a Team Leader, 2IC or a Senior Technical Lead within Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Logistics would be highly regarded, however not essential.
Ideally you will have

• 5+ years managing a MS Exchange environment & Office 365
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server
• Experience managing Network Infrastructure
• Experience managing Databases and Application software
• Systems Management with ERP would also be highly regarded
• Ability to lead cross functional teams
• Exceptional communication skills
• Understanding of Project Management principles and have experience managing projects
• Proven team Leadership, and a style that embraces positive change and reward performance
• A think outside the square approach

Excellent salary c 140 - 160K + super (depending on experience)
