Role description:
They are seeking the services an experienced IT Project Manager to deliver multiple projects through all phases of the project lifecycle - there is a steady pipeline of work - there may be management of multiple concurrent projects, depending on project size
Responsibilities:
- Work "hands on" through the end-end project lifecycle deliverables including Concept, Feasibility, Design & Planning, Build/Implementation, testing, Change and Finalisation
- Developing business cases
- Manage the planning and delivery of projects.
- Develop and implement project management plans to ensure the success of projects.
- Regularly communicate with key stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are met.
- Manage teams to ensure program business objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
- Manage vendors on certain projects
- Monitor progress of the projects including risks, issues, dependencies and benefits.
- Complete mandatory project documentation and fulfil record and reporting requirements for the projects.
- Minimum of 8 years project management experience
- Experience in Agile delivery frameworks
- Experience leading and managing the delivery of projects - focusing on business transformation and applications technology
- Track record of ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget, with the project scope controlled
- Strong vendor management experience (outsourced services and IT service providers)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information technology, Business, Engineering or Science
- Advanced verbal communication, documentation and presentation skills
- Commercial acumen demonstrated through delivery of value based solutions
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of the SDLC with good understanding of application development, system integration and design as well as business analysis methodologies.
- Experience in taking ownership and mobilising a collaborative team to work within an agile, fast paced environment.
