Form of workOur NSW Government client is hiring for a highly experienced ICT Project Manager. This role will help with digital transformations across multiple projects, with requirements to lead scoping, planning and delivery of projects as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Key experiences to be considered include: transformative delivery experience; digital application delivery; excellent communications and business relationship management experience; and having a highly customer centric + awareness of human centred design.
Role Title: ICT Project Manager
Contract Length: 21/10/2024 with a chance of extending.
Daily Payrate: $1,000 to $1,150 + Super p.d.
Location: Parramatta (2150)/WFH Hybrid.
Role Requirements:
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department.
- Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
- Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
- Create, update, and maintain project schedules.
- Develop and deliver project reports, including project status reports.
- Deliver quality project documentation.
Experience & Skills:
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- 4-6 years of experience in an ICT PM role Minimum.
- Minimum of 7+ years working in an Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Experience working with user-centered designers.
- Experience in IT systems customisation project.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Experience with procurement projects.
- Ability to work in a team and also take ownership and accountability of a project.
- Strong organisational skills - to plan, organise & set priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work within tight project timeframes.
- Experience working in the Government Sector is highly desirable.
