Cleared are supporting a Defence Company who are technology-driven, market-leading global provider of innovative, mission-critical solutions who are who are looking to engage any ITSM Coordinator with NV1 clearance or above.
The ITSM Coordinator will have 5-10 years of Experience & be a motivated IT professional with strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box. They will also need to be an excellent communicator and collaborator with non-IT stakeholders.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Contributions to ITSM Functions:
- Assistance in various ITSM functions with a focus on immediate advice for staff with diverse IT roles and oversight of specialist teams.
- Strong communication skills required for conveying ITSM concepts to diverse audiences, along with multi-disciplinary domain knowledge.
- Ensuring Viability of JCTB ITSM Components:
- Ensuring the viability of classified LVC training in the Joint Collective Training Branch (JCTB) amid departmental regulation and dynamic policy.
- Providing accountable capability advice, process enforcement, and identifying technical sources of operational risk.
- Additional Leadership Functions:
- Potential involvement in team leader functions with appropriate support and/or training provided as needed.
- Scope of Work
- Improvement of ITSM Processes and Procedures:
- Assistance and improvement in JCTB ITSM-related processes and procedures.
- Compliance with ITSM Policy when working on JCTB networks, systems, software, services, or information holdings.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Routine reporting on JCTB ITSM states, including Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Security, Change, and Incident reports.
- Utilization of Defence Service Management tools.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Ensuring ITSM tasking is effectively communicated to the workforce through Ticketing & Scheduling.
- Monitoring Defence email and policy communications, translating content for technical audiences and briefing leadership when necessary.
- Interaction and Risk Management:
- Interacting with internal and external Service Providers regarding ITSM processes and policy.
- Ongoing review of ITSM-related risks and issues, providing recommendations for adjustments.
- Knowledge Contribution and Security Compliance:
- Contribution to knowledge repositories and input to JCTB policy, process, and procedures.
- Handling of classified information in accordance with standing ADF Instructions, including adherence to the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM).
- Criteria, Qualifications, and Prerequisites
Specific Criteria:
- ITIL Foundation Certification or higher.
- 5+ years of industry IT experience, relevant military experience, or a combination of the two.
- Tertiary Degree or Vocational qualifications in a closely related discipline are desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver complex work or outcomes in cross-functional team environments.
- Unrestricted ability to deploy to ADF military installations in support of constructive training events.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to a broad range of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with frontline IT staff.
- Ability to conduct oneself in a manner reflective of ADF values.

Security Prerequisite
