We are in search of an IT Services Manager - a natural problem solver with a passion for customer service and a commitment to continuous improvement- to join our client, operating within the service provider sector.

- Permanent opportunity offering up to $120,000 per annum + superannuation.
- Onsite (5 days)
- Location: Northern Suburbs, Melbourne
- Eligibility: Permanent Resident/citizen
As an IT Service Operations Manager, you'll be the go-to person for overseeing the IT service desk's day-to-day operations. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Making sure the ticket handling and escalation processes run like a well-oiled machine.
- Keeping an eye on service performance metrics to hit KPIs and SLAs
- Always looking out for ways to improve service quality and efficiency.
- Leading, mentoring, and growing the IT service staff.
- Ensure the Service Operations Team is running in check with company policies and values, and making sure customer focus is paramount.
- Working closely with IT leadership to help shape and execute IT strategy.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in IT service management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and experience in managing service desk operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of IT professionals.
- Exposure to a broad range of technologies, especially Microsoft 365.
- Microsoft 365 Certification is desirable.
