Good Samaritan Catholic College is actively seeking applications for a IT Support Lead. As a senior technical support role, the IT Support Lead will play a crucial part in the daily operations of the IT Department. The following are the key responsibilities of the role:
1. Administration of ICT Systems: The IT Support Leader will focus on administering all ICT systems to ensure maximum operational performance and security. This includes managing infrastructure, software, and network components.
2. Technical Needs Alignment: Ensuring that all infrastructure aligns with the technical needs of College staff, students, and parents. This involves assessing requirements and implementing solutions.
3. High-Level Technical Support: Providing high-level technical support to the IT Support Team. This includes troubleshooting complex issues, assisting with system maintenance, and ensuring smooth operations.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Relevant degree-level qualifications.
- Ability to be self-directed and show initiative.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Experience in network management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop implementation of various procedures
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
