ICT Systems Support Lead

The ICT Systems Support Officer Lead will assist and provides technical leadership in deployments of new solutions and innovations. With a high focus on Security, the role will provide mentorship and technical escalation to the across the Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) department.

The role also performs the actions necessary to keep Council's ICT systems available, reliable, secure and with sufficient capacity for user demands.

Key Outcomes

• Improved security posture for council systems and users.
• Innovative solutions and initiatives are developed to support council activities and users.
• Coordinator ICT Operations and Manager ICT can rely on backup and resilience tests to deliver the necessary system availability to users.
• ICT customers have a high expectation that their problems will be fixed on the first call for support and within published service levels.
• Provide leadership and development through actions and behaviours for other team members within ICT Operations.

About You

You will have Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent demonstrated experience in relevant disciplines and certifications in two of the four disciplines, being Desktop, Server, Networking or Security or demonstrated equivalent industry experience.

It is essential that you have the ability to execute against operational guidelines and procedures with minimal direction and can demonstrate extensive experience in the provision of excellent customer service with particular emphasis on incident and service request management and a Current “C” class drivers licence for this role. – See a full list of the essential and desirable Selection Criteria, in the Position Description
