Your Impact:
 As a full time IT Support Senior Officer, you will play a key role in assisting the Chief Finance Officer and IT Support Team Lead in maintaining the IT systems and deliver IT support to the broader organisation. You will support the Good Sammy purpose of 'creating meaningful employment opportunities and pathways for people with disabilities'. 

What you'll do:

  • Monitor the ticket system, triage and log IT requests.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for Windows and mobile devices, POS, and AV.
  • Maintain asset management for all IT equipment.
  • Issue/Set up equipment replacements and new equipment.
  • Communicate and update staff on IT installations, issues and security.
  • Change, catalogue and safely store backup tapes.
  • Create documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Coordinate with other staff and MSPs to accomplish desired outcomes.
  • Develop and adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Provide continual service improvement, directly or via input.

Who you will work alongside:

You will be part of the Good Sammy Finance Team and report to the IT Support Team Lead. You will also liaise with external IT support providers.


What you'll bring:

  • Knowledge, skills and experience in 1st and 2nd Level IT support, specifically with Microsoft Windows environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft AD, M365, Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a high attention to detail.
  • High level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain positive customer (internal and external) relations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to plan and execute work to meet deadlines.
  • Driver’s license and the ability to attend sites around the metro area as required.
