As the Senior Executive Support Officer, you will be responsible for high quality, efficient and effective management of requests and correspondence on behalf of the division, ensuring responses are clear, and consistent with Departmental and Government protocols, objectives, legislation, and policy. Your well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, discreetly, and professionally with stakeholders will set you apart!This is a 12-month fixed term position, with possibility of extension and/or permanency. This process may be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed-term positions that may arise within the Department and across the WA public sector in the next 12 months from the initial date of appointment.Located in Perth CBD in a convenient location, above the Perth Underground rail; close to the Wellington Street Bus Station and City CAT services.To be successful for this position, you need to demonstrate: * Considerable experience in providing Executive Support at a senior level in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with people at all levels, maintain confidentiality and use discretion in relaying information.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake research, analyse information, quality assure a range of information and provide sustainable recommendations.
  • Understanding of business, financial, and human resource management.
  • Demonstrate the behaviours within the leadership context of Leading Others as outlined below.
