About the role
We run a proprietary betting platform, website and mobile applications and are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide high quality support and troubleshooting to our end users. This is an interesting and varied role; perfect for someone wanting to be kept busy and develop their career in a supportive team environment. The role is permanent and offers flexibility (2 days work from home, 3 days in the Sydney office).
Key Responsibilities
- Work though tickets in the IT Support queue and provide regular feedback to users
- Provide a wide range of support and troubleshooting to help users with IT problems and issues
- Physically set up equipment (laptops/desktops/docks/audio visual equipment)
- Create/modify/delete new users, groups, attributes etc. in Azure
- Monitor BlueBet’s managed security channel and act on alerts and escalate if needed
- Exist as a physical point of contact for staff in the office for any hardware related issues
- Conduct regular data backups to protect the company's data
- Assist with regular system upgrades and maintenance where required
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related area, or equivalent is desirable
- Demonstrated experience in an IT support role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft products and Cloud Technologies including MS Azure
- The ability to explain complex technological information and solutions in simple terms
