As an IT Technician, your role is to provide smooth, efficient, and customer-focused IT support services. The Technician will be responsible for the operation of the FIT Desk service providing customer-facing Level 1 and 2 IT support services to internal staff and stakeholders.
This role is a Full-Time permanent opportunity, working Hybrid out of our Wollongong office. There may be a requirement for this role to travel to local and interstate sites.
So what will you be doing?
- Providing Level 1 & 2 support to internal employees and stakeholders across Medibank and ahm
- Develop and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels including our executive team
- Work with the Team Lead to build and expand on the current delivery model and service offerings to meet our customer's requirements
- Provide expertise in known issues, problems, changes, limitations, errors, and workarounds for end-user devices
- Provide technical support and knowledge to customers requiring AV solutions
- Deliver support of end-user device software and hardware
- Work with IT Service Delivery Team to develop and deliver continuous improvement to customer service support and maintain a working knowledge of technology requirements and solutions within the Medibank environment
- Develop excellent working relationships across the wider Technology & Operations team to facilitate a prioritised response for escalated issues
About you
- Previous experience in a large customer service environment with an understanding of the importance of Customer Service
- Experience with providing exceptional customer service
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to motivate, educate and drive people to achieve desired outcomes
- Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders from both technical and business backgrounds
- Demonstrated experience & knowledge in Level 1 & 2 IT support
- Experience with AV technology
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and terminology (Desirable)
- Experience within a large multi-layered IT or technical environment (Desirable)
- Experience in Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11 (Desirable)
- Experience with Microsoft Intune (Desirable)
