About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking a IT Test Coordinator Professional to work within the local council client. This position is a permanent opportunity (Maximum Term - 2 Year Period), with the client based in the Town of Port Hedland.
This role has a attractive salary, can offer $400 weekly rental assistance, an utilities allowance, relocation assistance and 6 weeks of annual leave and 17.5% leave loading. There is also additional superannuation schemes available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive Test plan covering System Integration Testing, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing.
Collaborate with SMEs to develop test cases for end-to-end testing, integration with third-party systems, and deployment of new systems and functions.
Define and manage testing acceptance criteria, entry and exit review gates.
Liaise with Project Manager to identify, define, and track project testing requirements, scope, and objectives.
Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, briefing notes, budgets, schedules, and reports.
Act as the point of contact, ensuring adequate communication of project status to all participants, collaborating with the IT Change Management Coordinator for timing and consistency.
Organize meetings and workshops, preparing and disseminating high-quality and accurate paperwork and documents in a timely manner.
Manage the risks, issues, and defect register, raising, documenting, and reporting to the project manager.
Collaborate with SMEs to design, develop, and update Standard Operating Procedures and learning materials.
Ensure compliance with relevant Work Health and Safety regulations and legislation.
Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualification or significant experience (5+ years) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Project Management, IT).
Highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience in test management activities, including System Integration Testing, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing.
Accurate report writing and presentation skills.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
ISTQB Foundation certification.
Basic understanding of ITIL processes.
Technical understanding across Microsoft Suite, Excel, SharePoint, MS 365, and Technology One OneCouncil.
Familiarity with project methodologies such as Prince2 or PMBOK.
Experience with the Technology One CiAnywhere solution.
Local Government experience.
