We currently have a position available for a Testing Engineer for one of WA's best Civil companies, working on an important road project.
This is a 4-6 month contract position based at Joondalup/Clarkson. Their offices are in Maddington, but you'll primarily be based in the Joondalup/Clarkson area. This is a Monday to Friday role, working 38 hours per week, and is a role you'll be home every night.
This role we see you both on-site carrying out technical tasks, as well as working within the site office completing detailed and accurate test & commissioning paperwork.
The role would suit someone from a Project/Site Engineer with IT/Comms/Electrical background, or from a non-engineering background but with technical Project experience. But we are open to your type of background.
You'll ideally have the below:
- Understanding of general Project testing and commissioning processes
- Strong technical, communication (verbal and written) and IT skills especially with MS Office suite.
- Experience with QA documentation.
- Strong attention to detail a key requirement.
- Strict adherence to best practice safe working methods.
- Open Cabling license (Beneficial, but not essential)
You'll also need to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, and hearing test (as well as random D&A testing onsite at any time). The site work will involve standing on side of the road regardless of weather with a Laptop/Test equipment for hours at a time so you'll need to be physically fit.
