Council is seeking a proficient and versatile ITC Support Officer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in providing support, education, and guidance for the deployment and maintenance of computer systems infrastructures and networks. Additionally, your responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, collaborating with our ITC team on diverse projects, and contributing to the growth and optimisation of our technical landscape.
What to Expect:-
· There is often a pressure to work as fast as possible to deal with problems and achieve immediate results in all situations, either to ensure the minimum loss of customer contact time or to enable members of staff to use their computers again.
· Considerable staff contact is usually required.
· If you have responsibility for hardware or networks, you may have to lift and carry equipment and stretch to access items in awkward places.
· Travel within a working day is sometimes needed and may be required at short notice.
· The IT industry is constantly changing so there is a need to keep up with developments.
Requirements:
· Enrolment or completion in a course to obtain a Certificate IV in Information Technology or equivalent.
· Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking concepts.
· Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
