YOUR ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Planning & Prioritisation Specialist to join our Data Analytics, Insights & AI team. In this role you’ll lead the adoption of agile practices, guide the team through the complexities of agile transition, aligning their work with business goals. Your expertise will streamline operations and enhance team collaboration, directly impacting outcomes and delivery speed.
This is a permanent role open to candidates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Adelaide.
ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies with a clear track record of leading stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives, ensuring project milestones are met efficiently.
- Comprehensive experience in planning, prioritisation, and managing RAIDS (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), ensuring data products are delivered on time and within scope. Your expertise in identifying and mitigating risks, clarifying assumptions, addressing issues, and navigating dependencies is key to maintaining project momentum and achieving milestones.
- Solid background in coaching and mentoring teams, with an emphasis on embedding Scrum principles and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proven ability in effective stakeholder communication, adept at bridging gaps between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment.
- Additionally, your skills extend to drafting clear and effective communications, crucial for keeping stakeholders and partners informed and engaged. Your ability to convey complex information succinctly and persuasively ensures that project updates, risks, and successes are well understood across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in team management, with an emphasis on creating a protective environment that prioritizes and achieves sprint goals.
- Prior experience in the insurance sector, or a related industry or domain, is advantageous.
- A background as a business analyst is beneficial.
