Itsm Specialist

We are recruiting on behalf of a Federal Goverment Department that is the Australian Government agency responsible for supporting and investing in sport at all levels.We are seeking an ITSM Specialist to undertake an assessment of help desk and asset management and assist the department in developing a cost-effective business case and project plan for the implementation, automation, and rationalisation of ITSM services.Key Responsibilities

• Leveraging your skills and your proficiency in the use of software tools like spreadsheets, data modelling tools, and computer-aided design software, assess the Technology Group’s ITSM requirements, the existing systems and integration landscape and identify efficiency and effectiveness gaps.
• Assist the Cyber Security and IT support in identifying effective tool options and develop a set of processes designed to ensure quality and efficiency of service.
• Assist the Technology Coordination office to establish a business case and project initiation document for the implementation of an effective ITSM tool.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• Exceptional experience assessing, planning and implementing IT Service Management processes, software and tools to optimise IT Service Delivery and reduce costs.
• Exceptional data analytical, communication and written skills, and the ability to present complex technical concepts and issues to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrable skills in evaluating existing IT performance against best practices and identifying optimization opportunities, along with identifying right fit ITSM services to meet the technological needs cost-effectively.
