Iws Line Lead

As the IWS Line Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising the production line for our Integrated Workstation Systems (IWS). You will be responsible for coaching a team of production operators, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

• Leadership: Lead, motivate, and coach a team of production operators to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Production Oversight: Monitor and control the IWS production line, ensuring smooth operations and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee that IWS products meet or exceed established quality standards.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements. Implement and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Training and Development: Provide training to new team members and ongoing skill development for existing staff to enhance overall team competency.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, creating a safe working environment.

• Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a proven track record of leadership.
• Degree qualification in Engineering - Electrical or Mechanical; or another related discipline
• Familiarity with Integrated Workstation Systems or another continuous improvement program. Ability to understand and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and drive a high-performance culture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
