Client Details

We are seeking Japanese-Speaking Accountants in two different level (graduate and mid-level), possessing experience or academic background in tax and financial accounting on behalf of our client, a multinational accounting firm in Melbourne CBD.

Description

The key responsibilities and duties of the role:

• Provide accounting services to Japanese corporate clients, including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and tax returns and compliance.
• Preparation of IAS, BAS, and FBT lodgement.
• Providing advice to Japanese corporate clients on tax, accounting, and audit.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and business practices to provide proactive advice to clients.
• Building firm relationships with existing clients as a first contact point.
• Proactively approaching potential clients.
• Performing other ad hoc duties as needed.

Profile

To be successful in this position you will need:

• Degrees in Accounting or Finance are desirable.
• Previous experience in taxation and financial accounting (mid-level).
• Skill for using MYOB and/or XERO
• Skill for preparing payroll calculations
• Skill for preparing IAS and BAS
• Experience preparing FBT and CTR
• Fluency in Japanese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Permanent full work rights in Australia.
