Client Details
Our client, a global financial institution is seeking a Japanese speaking Manager / Assistant Manager (depends on experience) to build and maintain business relationships with Japanese corporate clients to increase business growth and revenue.
Description
The key responsibilities will be:
- Identify new business opportunities and promote financial products.
- Keep close communication with head office and other branches.
- Build business plans & strategic proposals.
- Prepare Credit application submission (both loans and treasury products).
- Conduct financial analysis of balance sheet, profit and loss and cash-flow.
- Conduct credit risk monitoring and prepare credit rating.
- Review legal documentation and ensure legal documentation corresponds with credit approvals.
- Communicate and liaise with internal and stakeholders at different levels
- Other ad-hoc tasks as requested.
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
- Experience in maintaining successful relationship particularly with Japanese corporate business
- Experience in corporate finance, basic accounting and tax skills will be preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
- Strong analytical skills and project management skills - ability to deliver to deadlines
- Strong communications, negotiation and reporting skills.
- Excellent decision making and problem solving ability
- A high-level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluent in Japanese speaking, writing and reading & fluent in English
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
