The opportunity:
You will be required to deliver excellent food to the highest possible standard and perform live cooking, as well as Sushi and Sashimi making in our Hatsuhana Japanese restaurant while maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic work area.

Your day to day:
• Possessing exceptional showmanship, as the Teppanyaki tables are a highlight of the restaurant as well as Sushi and sashimi making
• Being familiar with all Teppanyaki and Sushi preparations involving rice,
noodles, fish, meats and deserts
• Mise en place and food service for production area

What you’ll bring:
• Strong knowledge of Asian cooking techniques including Sushi and Sashimi and Teppanyaki-style cooking philosophies and principles
• Ability to prepare all teppanyaki mise en place including starches, vegetables, trimming and cutting of proteins as well as the ability to verbally
explain processes of history, preparation, and cooking techniques to guests while cooking.
• Ability to captivate guests by cooking “on stage”
• Must have a professional appearance and good hygiene
• Japanese speaking and good command of English Language
