This is a long-term contract role until December 2024 with potential extensions, offering flexible work arrangements (in office and remote options) across all states and territories.
As the Software Developer, you will:
- Update and maintain mission-critical export certification systems for seamless user experience.
- Design and develop modern, high-quality software solutions using Java and Oracle technologies.
- Build web-based UIs utilizing ReactJS, CSS, and HTML.
- Create and implement data models in Oracle Database using CRUD operations.
- Design and develop SOAP and REST web services for internal and B2G integrations.
- Implement and maintain secure authentication and access control mechanisms.
- Develop workflows using BPEL and Oracle SOA Suite.
- Utilize and configure Oracle Middleware technologies like WebLogic, SOA Suite, Database, IAM, and HTTP Server.
- Employ version control tools like Git, testing tools like SoapUI and Postman, and automation tools like Maven and Jenkins.
- Essential:
- 5+ years of collaborative software design and development experience with Java, Oracle technologies, and JavaScript.
- In-depth SDLC knowledge and experience working on innovative software applications within teams.
- Experience supporting, maintaining, and debugging critical production systems.
- Expertise in client-server, service-oriented, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Proven ability to document technical details for design, support, and maintenance purposes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to build strong relationships.
- Desirable:
- Experience with Oracle BPEL for workflow and web service orchestration.
- Knowledge of business rules management systems like Drools.
- Familiarity with service bus and API management tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps tools (Repos, Boards, Artifacts, Pipelines).
- Experience with Azure App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus, SQL, and Cosmos DB.
