Adelaide Jewellery Repair Specialists is a small family owned business, established since 1972 in the Adelaide CBD. We pride ourselves on offering a value for money jewellery repair service whilst giving our customers exceptional customer service. We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, well presented, customer focussed Sales Assistant to join our small team to assist in the day-to-day running of our business and help take our business to the next level.
Qualifications & experience
- Proven experience working in a sales role within the Jewellery Industry.
- High level of customer service, professionalism and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work within a small team and build relationships.
- High level of competence in working with computers and technology (experience working with Photoshop and SWIM advantageous).
- Experience and knowledge in photography.
- Knowledge and experience in working with online platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram and Shopify.
- Flexibility to work various shifts within the businesses operating hours, namely Tues – Friday 9am til 3.00pm, with some Saturday work required.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage sales, stock and repairs, through computer-based Point of Sale System (SWIM).
- Advise customers on jewellery remodelling, new manufacturing designs.
- Clean and display jewellery as required.
- Photograph/video stock for use on online Web Store and manage the online upload process, using Shopify.
- Create marketing posts for use on social media.
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the business, by answering phones, online queries etc.
