Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Jewellery Sales Assistant to become an integral part of our close-knit team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer experiences, assisting our customers in finding the perfect jewellery pieces for their special moments, building relationships, and contributing to positive sales outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the owner of the business and be involved in various aspects including sales, mentoring, visual merchandising, product buying, and stock management. Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Experience: Provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging with customers, understanding their preferences, and guiding them through the selection process. Build rapport through a positive and flexible attitude, ensuring a memorable and exceptional shopping experience.
2. Sales, Product Knowledge and Target Achievement): Utilise your proven experience working with fine jewellery (minimum two years) to confidently guide customers in selecting the perfect pieces. Design experience is preferred to collaborate with clients on custom designs, offering creative input and technical expertise. Meet and exceed sales targets by recommending suitable jewellery pieces and upselling when appropriate.
3. Client Relationships: Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their loyalty and satisfaction.
4. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels (& assist in monitoring trends and curating collections)
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with our talented team of designers, gemmologists, and craftspeople to ensure seamless customer experiences.
6. Visual Merchandising: Contribute to creative styling and visual merchandising to enhance the in-store experience.
7. Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in fine Jewellery Sales (minimum two years), with design experience preferred.
· Excellent communication skills, including questioning and listening.
· Self-initiative, responsibility, and a flexible attitude.
· Personal presentation and pride in work.
· Strong selling skills and the ability to tailor the customer experience.
· A keen eye for creative styling and visual merchandising.
· Proficiency in computer skills and digital media.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
