Junior Estimator / Contracts Administrator – Perth Based

An exciting opportunity presents for a suitably qualified/near qualified Junior Estimator / Contracts Administrator. This is a newly created role due to exponential growth of our business. This position is full-time based in Bibra Lake and may require occasional travel to site located projects and our Karratha Office from time to time.

Your New Role:
In your new role as a Junior Estimator / Contracts Administrator, you will play a crucial part in the success of our projects. Working closely with the Senior Estimator and Project Managers, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of accurate and competitive tenders, quotes and estimates. Additionally, you will assist in contract administration tasks, ensuring compliance and smooth project delivery. This role offers a unique opportunity for career development, providing exposure to various aspects of Western Australian industry.
This role will report to our Senior Estimator.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree or qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering or a related field or studying nearing completion.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with estimating software/construction software is desirable but not a requirement.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a desire to learn and grow within the construction industry.
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant internships will be highly regarded, but not essential in particular Piping and Metal Works.
