An established boutique agency servicing a diverse client and industry base is looking for the right fit for its team.
As a Jnr Graphic/Digital Designer you will report directly to the Art Director and be part of a dedicated studio team and freelance specialists.
You'll work on a range of design, digital and finished art tasks, including tactical marketing activity, and social media creative assets.
You will be responsible for producing creative concepts and design including print advertising, and digital assets with opportunity to lead your own design projects as you develop.
We’re looking for someone who’s ambitious, eager to make their mark and help take our studio design output to a new level.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Senior Art Director as required.
- Produce creative assets as briefed.
- Finished art as and when projects require.
- Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Create concepts, visual identities and ideas.
- Create animated digital assets and designs.
- Support in content management of websites
- Maintain high design standards while working under pressure.
- Work to corporate guidelines when required.
- Understands the need for timely and efficient work-practices.
Mandatory skills and attributes:
- Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro.
- A conceptual mind that understands how to make good design and typography sell
- An understanding of CMS software (primarily WordPress).
In addition, it would be great if you have:
- Experience building digital assets in HTML5 and CSS.
- A basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere for video editing.
- A knowledge of Adobe After Effects for animation
- Animation and/or basic short video production.
- A basic knowledge of PowerPoint for some client presentations
- Some basic front end coding knowledge
- Experience in finance, agribusiness, retail, NFP or hospitality is beneficial.
