As a Senior Business Analyst at Sportsbet you will be working within a delivery team and with other teams. You will act as a liaison for the business and technology teams. You will translate business needs and technology capabilities into stories, acceptance criteria and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate closely with Tech leads and team members in the team and cross-functional delivery teams
- Take ownership of early life initiatives to translate ideas into an understanding of feasibility, complexity, scope and value.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams to visually represent high level solutions for initiatives being developed
- Help understand priorities and dependencies in the backlog which is being shaped for delivery
- Display outstanding attention to detail and a curious mindset, on your own work as well as your teammates
- Communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders in the delivery team
- Be the interface of various teams. Elicit and analyse requirements from stakeholders.
- Output analysis into high quality artefacts be it documentation or stories.
- Defines acceptance criteria clearly, aligning technology, business, QA, non-functional, UX to an outcome.
- Exposure to Agile ways of working: backlog grooming, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, retrospectives, mid sprint review, stories, sprints, etc.
- Active participant in the BA community to share as part of your continuous improvement
- Be a team player, who embodies the Sportsbet values including having their teammate’s backs and showing boldness in seeking out opportunities to be impactful
About You
We are looking for somebody who is a self-starter and passionate about what they do. You love details, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and adapt easily to pivots with ever changing business needs. You can tackle complexity, then break it down to its fundamental deliverables that make sense to engineers and stakeholders.
You are a team player who cares about and uplifts your teammates. Ideally, you’ve received some exposure to Agile working methodologies. On top of that all, you welcome a good challenge and have no issues balancing a few deliverables in a dynamic environment.
