About the role
The Jobs and Skills Centre is a service offering free career, training and employment assistance as well as partnerships with industry. The Centre is a one-stop-shop for anyone looking to improve their skills and job prospects – including students, job seekers and career changers. It will provide a culturally responsive service to Aboriginal people. The Jobs and Skill Centre will also engage with the local community and industry to help build local prosperity.
The Jobs and Skills Consultant works closely with industry, employers and JSC contracted providers to develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders. The role requires excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen actively, understand the needs of stakeholders and communicate effectively.
The Jobs and Skills Consultant is also responsible for increasing NRT staff knowledge of the JSC services and resources, developing resources to support client engagement, providing support at events, and working alongside JSC contracted providers to achieve shared goals.
The Jobs and Skills Consultant is a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional client experiences.
