We are always looking for experienced, enthusiastic people to join our team. Currently we are searching for people who can assist us with window and door frame assembly, wood machining, hardware fit off, glazing, etc. There are multiple areas to learn within the business provided you are enthusiastic and eager to move forward. What we do;
Manufacture period and contemporary joinery, including the following;
-Manufacture timber doors and windows to a range of different profiles, using woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, thicknessers, spindle moulders, tenoning machine, CNC mortising machine, 5 axis CNC overhead router, door/sash press. wide belt sander, hand tools, etc.
-Fit off various hardware mechanisms for windows and doors including casement windows, double hung windows, awning windows, sliding doors and windows, bi-fold doors and windows, Lift and Slide door units, retractable flyscreens, etc.
-Factory prime and finish (using air-assisted spray pump) timber windows and doors.
-Factory glaze windows and doors.
Skills and experience;
Cert III or equivalent qualification or 3 years experience. Minimum of 2 years experience is required.
The following skills will be helpful but are not essential;
-An understanding of hand tool use, including drills, drivers, sanders, hammers, chisels, hand planes and clamping devices.
-Experience using woodworking machinery.
-Experience assembling timber frames.
-Experience Spray Painting.
-Experience working in a manufacturing workshop.
