Entry level opportunity with structured learning and on the job experience in Nerang to secure a future career. NTHA in partnership with our host employer, a window and doors specialist is seeking an Apprentice to complete a Certificate III in Joinery while gaining on the job experience.
Our host employer has supplied internal and external timber doors to the building industry in Brisbane and SE Queensland since 1991 and has secured many projects from small renovations to high rise towers. Be a part of a company that provides high end custom doors & windows, excellent service & a wide range of timber door & hardware knowledge.
Learn from an experienced tight-nit family run business who focuses on career progression and investing their time into your career with them to provide the highest quality joinery projects to homes. Interpreting drawings and planning timber materials to be used, cutting & constructing timber doors, using power tools and much more is what your day-to-day would look like.
What's involved?
During the 48 month training contact you get to the learn the following:
- Select timbers and materials
- Measure and calculate quantities
- Use professional trade tools and equipment
- Construct timber external windows and door frames
- Learn to use and maintain machinery
- No experience necessary!
- A smooth transition into work from school, unemployment, or other employment – we are with you every step of the way.
