We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Journalist to join our Melbourne newsroom!
About The Role:
- Produce and present news to an exceptional standard with a focus on credibility and accuracy.
- Display a positive attitude and a flexible approach to newsroom rosters.
- Proactively chase interviews for unique news stories.
- Take responsibility to understand the demographics of the brands.
- Proactively engage with the operations of the newsroom.
About You:
- Sound editorial judgement.
- Broadcast quality voice.
- Excellent presentation, radio production and communication skills.
- Confident journalist who is adept at chasing, producing and presenting compelling stories and interviews.
- Degree or qualification in Communications/Journalism.
- Knowledge of media law, as it applies to radio broadcasts in Australia.
- Experience with Newsboss and Zetta preferred.
- Experience with digital audio and podcasting a bonus.
