AddressThe Times News Group is looking for a permanent Part Time Journalist to come and join our team in a work from home capacity, 30 hours a week.
Creating content for the Times News Group, we're seeking a journalist who loves community news, can cover a wide variety of topics with attention to detail, and has a keen eye for photography.
Interest in and knowledge of the greater Bendigo region is important, and candidates will need to live in that region To cover the local stories.
You’ll also need to have a driver's licence, a car, and be able to work some weekends and some public holidays.
The Times News Group publishes weekly community newspapers including the Ballarat Times, Golden Plains Times, Bendigo Times, McIvor Times, Surf Coast Times, Bellarine Times, Moorabool News and the Geelong Times.
We also provide access to and support for the Melbourne Business School's Digital News Academy, Google News Initiative activities, and other continuing professional development opportunities.
We're open to options for this job and will be considering graduates/ cadets, and journalists with experience.
