Wildlife Safari is searching for an enthusiastic consultant to join our small team to create exceptional journeys to our portfolio of destinations.
Tasks include but not limited to.
- Consult and design itineraries to suit the client brief over the phone or by email
- Produce written quotations, invoices and travel documents
- Liaise with our global suppliers/hotel and air partners
- Prepare accurate costings from our supplier contracts in multiple currencies
- Compile travel documentation
- Sell proactively to convert a quotation into a reservation
- Calculate, book and ticket air
The role requires.
- Relevant travel industry qualification and/or experience (essential)
- Competent Microsoft Office skills (Word + Excel essential)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally and confidently (verbal and written)
- Skills to work efficiently and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently within a small team environment
- Excellent administration skills
- Supportive and positive attitude
- GDS qualification with Sabre preferred
- Strong destination knowledge
Wildlife Safari, the luxury independent travel company to Africa, islands of the Indian Ocean and India arranges custom designed journeys for the travel industry and our direct client base.
We are a small team and will provide training and support in the reservation process.
Our office is open Monday to Friday. Hybrid options and flexibility will be considered.
A keen interest and understanding of the requirements of luxury travel will be an advantage.
