The mine site

Located in Orange in central NSW, this large UG hard rock mine supports the careers of up to 700 people in the local vicinity. The mine production division at site offers; -

• 7:7 roster - days/ nights (12-hour shifts)
• The chance to upskill on modern UG mining machinery
• A well-connected team culture, that believes in support and training
• A wide range of training and development options
• Option to DIDO, FIFO (if in NSW) or relocate to Orange and sleep in your own bed each night

Accommodation & meals

For those DIDO or FIFO accommodation and meals will be provided at a camp facility 20 minutes from the mine site;-

• BIBO before and after each shift (provided by the company)
• Large rooms with en suite facilities (you'll have your own room to return to each swing, not shared)
• Excellent standard of food with a good spread each day for crib

The role

Reporting to the shift boss on your crew you will enjoy working as a Jumbo Operator on Epiroc M2D development drill rigs. Working in a close knit team you will be involved with;-

• Development drill operations
• Construction project work expanding and developing the mine
• Working to development targets

Your skills and experience

You will come from a background working as a Jumbo Operator in an UG hard rock mine. Your 8+ years previous experience working with Sandvik or Epiroc development drills will put you in a great position with the tasks you face. You will also have;

• Have strong UG hard rock mining experience
• Excellent safety record and attitude towards safety
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
• M2D experience (highly regarded)
• NSW manual drivers license
