Your role with us:
As our Junior Animator, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of visually engaging and immersive slot games that captivate players and keep them entertained. You will work closely with the art and animation teams, you will help bring to life the game concepts through your artistic skills, attention to detail, and passion for creating exceptional gaming content. You will also collaborate with the wider team of Illustrators, Animators, Mathematicians and Developers to conceptualize and create basic animations under the guidance of senior team members and the Art Director. This could include animating symbols and simple game UI components, character rigging and assembling files. You will also work closely with Senior Animators to understand the project requirements and assist them in various tasks. This might involve helping with animation rigging, clean-up, or submitting animations to our staging environment.

What you will do:- Creating Basic Animations - Creation of basic animations under the guidance of senior team members and the Art Director. This could include (but isn’t limited to) animating symbols, simple game UI components and assembling files.
- Assisting Senior Animators - You'll work closely with senior animators to understand the project requirements and assist them in various tasks. This might involve helping with animation rigging, clean-up, or submitting animations to our staging environment.
- Problem Solving - Animation in games can present technical challenges, such as optimizing animations for performance or troubleshooting issues with character rigs. You'll be expected to problem-solve independently and seek assistance when needed.
- Excellent communication skills in this highly collaborative role.
- A great animation foundation and an understanding of the basic principles of animation.
- Ability to adhere to an existing but evolving creative pipeline and maintain consistent processes and conventions across all games.
- An interest in current industry trends including new game genres, new game design and animation methods and emerging platforms.
- Mobile Games experience and familiarity is advantageous
- Previous studio experience a huge plus
- Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack & Jira
