Junior Accountant

scouted. has recently partnered with an Australian property and investment group on the search for a Junior Accountant to join the team. 

Our client specialises in property investment opportunities as well as advising and dealing in residential and retail property. With several projects in their portfolio, this brand is gaining traction already and becoming a fierce competitor to larger and more established developers in the market.

Your responsibilities:

• Process invoices and monthly payment runs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assistance with loading actuals & updating budgets in project feasibilities.
• Administration maintaining files and records.
• Assistance with preparing BAS lodgements. 
• Provide general support to the Finance team as required.

Required skills:

• A passion for finance and a desire to expand knowledge in the field.
• Ability to cultivate strong internal and external relationships.
• Proficiency in both independent work and team collaboration.
• Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.
