Job Summary:
This is an entry level position which is perfect for an accounting graduate or someone who wants to develop their accounting skills, with a thorough onboarding and ongoing training provided. Upon onboarding, a laptop and mobile will be provided.
The perfect candidate will have some accounting experience, passionate about accounting and analysing data and have high attention to detail. If you are eager to learn and improve your accounting experience, looking to join a busy high performing finance team within a well-established national business, involved in day-to-day accounts, we encourage you to establish contact with our team to hear more about the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks.
- Raising customer invoices and processing vendor invoices.
- Liaising with our Operations team and responding to client queries.
- Following up with customers for overdue balances.
- Administration duties, including answering phone calls and responding to emails.
Skills & Experiences:
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or Diploma of Accounting are both desirable.
- Proficient across all Microsoft packages.
- Proficient with using XERO.
- Familiar with accounting and finance processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills both internally, and externally with key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results driven and possessing a desire to solve problems.
- Willing to improve and learn new finance and accounting processes.
- Ability to work both autonomously and be a team player when required.
