Gulson Canberra is a family owned business that has been operating since 1963. We are currently looking for an Administration Assistant Trainee. This position would be ideal for a recent year 12 graduate.
The Role

- To be committed to undertake a Traineeship in Certificate III Business
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Admin Trainee to join a successful and growing business. We offer the successful candidate an opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Business, gaining a qualification with on the job training, at the same time as learning new skills.
Core tasks included in this role are:
- Reception duties
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Greeting clients
- General data entry
- Database management
- Welcoming enquiries from customers by phone, email and face to face
- Attending the Motor Registry and processing customer transactions
General administrative duties:
- Purchase and management of stationery and other minor items
- Support services to the Sales Team
- General office and management support
- General Admin duties
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Pay will be as per the Clerks Private Sector Award [MA000002]. A pay and performance review will be undertaken at 6 months. Potential to progress in the business.
