Junior / Assistant Contracts Administrator - Asap

Great opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on projects such as earthworks, demolition, excavation, piling, retention, foundations etc. Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for a Junior / AssistantContracts Administrator to join their growing business.
  
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects.
  
Types of projects include build earthworks, demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5m to $25m but can go up to $50m+.
  
This role is for a project which will be based on site at the Fraser Coast area.

Years of experience:
1 to 3 years +

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Mostly will be general admin duties as required
• Proficient use of excel
• Support managing subcontract mechanisms
• Support conduct status reporting, project reports, risk and program reporting
• Assist with Forecasting
• Manage the document control process
• Liaising with all stakeholders
• Support when needed with compliance with management system policies, plans, procedures and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
• 3+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects.
• Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
• Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
• Effective problem solving abilities
• High level of organisation and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
