The Business Analyst is responsible for all master data generation, quality and documentation, including menu design/presentation thru spec implementation. This position is responsible for costing of the specification and quality of output.
What you will focus on
- Collaborates with the menu design and procurement team before menu presentations, to ensure menu design meets customer requirements as well as to leverage existing data and product catalogues. Ensures Executive Chef’s presentation grid is complete with existing and new recipes and products are clearly identified.
- Attends menu presentation with Executive Chef to capture changes, take pictures, and update menu grid during the scrub session after the presentation.
- Update specifications (in collaboration with Executive Chefs and Commercial team) in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, including A/O equipment, instructions, pictures, and ancillary non-culinary menu items and services.
- Liaises with materials management and procurement team to identify correct existing materials and new materials that require Sourcing.
- Creates and maintains master live data sets for each account in the Company’s ERP system.
- Performs menu reads with the production units and acts as single point of contact for all specification questions in all systems.
- Performs continuous audits to ensure standard, consistent and quality master data in catering systems.
About you
- Recently or are about to complete your tertiary qualifications in Business or Accounting or similar.
- From 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Possess skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically EXCEL.
- Must have a proactive self-starter approach to tasks.
- Willingness to learn.
- Can work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Must have the ability and desire to meet required timelines.
- Ability to communicate well, (verbally and in writing).
- Possess full and unrestricted Australian working rights.
