You’ll be responsible for evaluating existing business processes and solutions, making recommendations for improvement to add to organisational productivity and efficiency. You’ll also be responsible for the technical delivery of business applications projects and initiatives, ensuring that projects are delivered successfully into the business and new products are well embedded into practical use for Landcom. The position is designed to partner with business stakeholders, understand their needs and translate and support those needs into technology and process solutions where appropriate. Whilst not always the case it is anticipated that the technology used to implement this modernisation will be based on the Microsoft Power Platform, i.e. PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Power Automate Flow, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations on the platform.
This is a development role – it would suit someone who is hungry to be developed, mentored and gain experiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Capture, influence, validate and translate business requirements into technical specifications to support and enhance product development processes and project deliverables;
- Facilitate workshops, capture, and validate business requirements and translate these into functional & technical requirements for solution options;
- Understand the existing Landcom technology ecosystem, its products and associated business processes, requirements, and customer needs;
- Define system scope, risks and issues based on needs of users;
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to conduct business process analysis and develop necessary artefacts;
- Provide insights to management on actionable recommendations for decision making;
- Identify efficiency opportunities across processes and systems; and
- Ensure built solutions meet requirements and supporting the team in user acceptance sign-off.
Ideally you’ll have:
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar Business Analyst role;
- Experience working on applications projects;
- Foundational knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform – MS PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI, Azure, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 (desirable);
- Experience contributing to Product Backlog in the form of Epics, Feature and User Stories;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organisation;
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience; and
- Above all else, you will have a humble, kind, friendly and trustworthy personality, with excellent listening skills. You will be disciplined, articulate and conversational and get excited by the prospect of working for a growing business.
