About The Role

As a Junior Car & Asset Finance broker, you will be working directly with the senior broker within our company in both the asset and commercial applications. Your responsibility will be supporting the senior broker team to fulfil finance applications from enquiry to approval and, ultimately settlement. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience with broking systems and lender platforms. Throughout the process of supporting the senior broker, you will develop your skill set as a junior Asset Finance Broker to service your own clients and settle consumer loans.

• Prepare consumer and commercial finance applications.
• Coordinate consumer and commercial loan approvals in conjunction with the senior broker.
• Coordinate consumer and commercial loan settlements with the clients.
• Keep the CRM system (Ambition Cloud & Hubspot) updated with notes, deal tracking and client interactions.
• Proactively generate new business opportunities through both hunting (seeking new clients) and farming (nurturing existing relationships).
• Foster strong relationships within your community and establish a robust referral network to support and grow your business.
• Field and convert qualified leads provided to you by our in-house team.
• Collaborate with lenders to secure the best deals for your clients and employ a proactive approach to ensure successful outcomes.
• Utilise your deep financial knowledge to assess client requirements and recommend the most suitable Asset Finance solutions.
• Prioritise client needs by actively listening, understanding their requirements, and delivering top-tier financial advice and solutions.

About You

• Bring a minimum of 1 year of broker experience, whether as an independent professional or from within an organisation.
• Possess a genuine passion for assisting Australians in securing the right funding.
• Have a background in lending, sales, or customer service, which will be pivotal for your success.
• Demonstrate an unwavering ambition to establish and nurture a thriving broking business.
• Exhibit a proactive attitude towards learning and implementing the systems and processes we provide.
• Understand and value the principle that true success is rooted in prioritising client needs and ensuring they feel valued and significant.
