Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects with a focus on retaining walls.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and contractors to gather necessary information for estimates related to retaining walls.
- prepare detailed costs estimates for materials, labour and equipment specific to retaining wall construction.
- identify potential cost savings and recommend value engineering options for retaining wall projects.
- maintain accurate and up to date records of project estimates and budgets for retaining wall projects
