Junior Contracts Administrator / Project Coordinator
Design & Build are searching for someone who is either currently studying within the construction field or had a taste of contracts administration and ready to develop themselves whilst working within the industry.
Our client is a well-established commercial construction brand that maintains a family feel and collaborative culture. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, review, management of contracts, and general administration for an initial project on the Sunshine Coast with a 3-year program.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
- Assist in managing the administration of contracts, including change orders, requests for information, and correspondence
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure contracts are completed within budget and on schedule
- Provide general administrative support to the project team and greater business
- Previous admin experience within the construction industry
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with construction management software preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
