As a Junior Design Manager at Fabtech, you will hold a strategic position, working closely with the Engineering manager to deliver leading design projects. You will help lead projects across a range of sectors including potable water, energy, mining, and waste containment. You will bring technical knowledge and project management skills to the role, along with a willingness to learn and grow. 

Responsibilities:

• Aid the development of innovative and sustainable engineering solutions, driving excellence within the team.
• Lead the successful delivery of complex projects in liquid containment engineering, waste management, mining, and hazardous dams.
• Take a leading role in developing technical and commercial documents for clients throughout all project phases.
• Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, driving project delivery and business development strategies.
• Oversee technical project delivery, ensuring the effective management of risks and maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Assume a key role in project management, with a focus on securing repeat business and achieving desired outcomes for key clients.
• Work collaboratively with a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared project responsibilities.
• Establish and maintain a track record and reputation of achievement, with a particular focus on delivering engineering design packages through the design and execution phases of projects.
• Exhibit a highly motivated, innovative, and committed approach to technical excellence throughout project execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Civil or related disciplines, demonstrating a strong academic foundation. 
• Hold relevant professional accreditation and be a registered Professional Engineer, ensuring compliance with industry standards and ethical practices.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrate proficiency in delivering engineering design packages through all project phases, from conception to execution.
• Exhibit an ability to oversee complex projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery while effectively managing risks.
