We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to step into the role of Junior Draftsperson. This is a full time position and ideal for a recently qualified Boilermaker or Sheet Metal Fabricator.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
This role is ideal for a Boiler Maker or Sheet Metal Fabricator just out of the trade looking to further their career. Utilising your knowledge learnt from your trade, you will be responsible for:
- Producing detailed workshop drawings from concept to design through to quote stage.
- Identifying dimensions, angles, curves, tolerances, and calculating material requirements.
- Preparing BOMs (Bill of Materials) from shop drawings.
- Coordinating the purchasing of materials.
- Liaising with customers to gather information when required.
- Demonstrating a sound understanding of fabrication techniques, production methods, and workshop practices.
Required Skills
Trade qualified: Boiler maker or sheet metal fabricator looking to further their career
Essential CAD proficiency: Capable of preparing straightforward technical drawings with ease.
Direction adherence: Adept at comprehending and executing both written and verbal instructions.
Computer savvy: Well-versed in essential computer programs, including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
Attention to detail: Exhibits neatness, precision, and dependability in every task undertaken.
Communication excellence: possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring a seamless interaction with customers, vendors, and our internal team.
