The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. You will coordinate under the supervision of the Engineering manager, with technology providers, equipment suppliers and balance of plant providers to ensure the energy solution will meet the performance guarantee and be compliant to Australian standard. Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- To continually liaise with Engineering Manager
- Tender document review – Scoping, Clarifications, Deviations & Exclusions
- Carry out Engineering work as directed
- Follow Quality Assurance processes and policies
- Preparing equipment datasheet and getting quotes from Vendors
You will bring your experience in the renewable or process industry in a related area supporting with engineering activities. Familiarity with PFD, P&ID, Layout drawings. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in finding optimum solutions to various engineering challenges that may arise during creating an energy solution suited to client’s site. You will succeed with the following skills and traits:
- Batchelor’s degree in Chemical/Process/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of Australian standards Mech/Elec
- Preparation for HAZOP and safety studies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent team player and ability to assist colleagues as required
