CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Due to continuous growth a full-time position has been made available for a Junior Estimator to join our team based at our Melbourne office in Mordialloc on a full-time basis.
Initially you will report to the Head Estimator and State Construction Manager.
Your main duties will include:
- Providing accurate pricing, estimating BOQ and drafting estimates.
- Maintaining and producing project records and reports.
- Following up on quotes and tenders
- Completion of tender requests addenda and submissions.
- Liaising with clients to convert quotes into contracts.
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
Will need to have completed tertiary education with relevant accreditation in estimating, engineering or construction management.
Have experience and capacity to prepare lump sum tenders.
Ability to fully understand drawings, details and scope of works.
Ability to thoroughly quote accurately as per scope of works.
Excellent computer skills.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Strong work ethic, organisational skills.
Ability to meet work deadlines and be able to perform under pressure.
